The quilt had to use a certain proportion of a particular fabric and out of the leftover scraps there was just enough to create a fairy. It is impossible to see on the picture but her skirt is 3 dimensional. It is only sewn down at waist and sides and is lined in deep pink. The face is just freely stitched on the machine.
