With just as few days left when "in river" working is allowed work has started on repairing the "bite" out of the wall downstream.This is the view looking down from our garden.
This is a closer view from the road level.The bags in the river are there to protect the river not the wall builders.
Had reason to go to a local cottage hospital this week and was rather taken by the sign over the front door. :o)
