Just finished an afternoon stint of very necessary domestic stuff and was beginning to think of what to make for tea when the phone rang. It was Davina Thomas from Popular Patchwork magazine!
The magazine had run a competition to make 15"square quilts on the theme of "Charmed, I'm sure". The main prizes were 3 super Bernina machines. The quilts were to be shown at the Festival of Quilts at the NEC and the visitors could vote on those quilts that were left after the 3 main prizes had been allocated for a further prize of Viewers' Choice.
The phonecall was to say that the votes were counted and the the fairy quilt shown further back in my blog has won me £150 worth of Timeless Treasures quilting fabrics!!!!
I am gobsmacked---------an instant stash!!! :o)))))))
