Three layers is a quilt--right?

The flowery bits are tiny bits of dyed lace trapped beween sheer fabrics and embellished with free machine stitching. The fabrics have been shaped with a soldering iron to seal the edges.
Brambles are tiny black beads stitched around a small fabric ball.

Hopefully by this time next week these pieces will be combined with the previous post and the piece will be finished.

Fabulous idea! You know, I always wonder about the '3 layers is a quilt' definition too and I love that you are taking this further. Lace between sheer, I can't wait to see this finished.
