Keswick on Friday 13th!

A beautiful warm October day so we went through to Keswick for our shopping and then had a picnic in the park.

You can just see Skiddaw rising behind the trees. The building that you can see twice (next to the Horse Chestnut tree with its glorious colours) is Keswick Art Gallery and Museum.

This is a little gem of a museum and well worth seeing. Look out for the mummified cat and the musical stones!

Thank you for the comment on my blog :o)

I have visited Keswick museum all my life, introduced my kids to it and now my grandkids to it. It has moved with the times but still retains its magic!

It is a wonderful museum--especially for children!
