Right tool for the job!

This little beauty has just made a job so easy!

Our local school is entered into Global Rock Challenge again and costumes are beginning to be assembled . I had volunteered to help out and for my first task had 40 pieces of sheer fabric to edge with fine fishing line. The total sides of each piece came to about 10 feet (in old money!)so 40 x 10= 400 feet.
Using the Bernina 39C foot with the clear sole and that tiny hole in the centre to feed the fishing line through the job was easy peasy! A wide zig zag just wrapped the fabric round the line so neatly.

PS I think this link will take you to their entry last year where they achieved some very good results!
