East West quilts finished.

It was almost impossible to catch the twinkle with the camera as I only used very small hot fix gold stars.They are just enough to catch the light and satisfy two little girls' love of sparkle.

The second picture just catches a couple of them.

The autumn toned quilt has extra wadding behind the stars and circles to give a vaguely trapunto effect. Both quilts have the same blue floral backing fabric which was just wide enough to span without any joins.
