A little bit drippy today

The rain has brought out all the lilies. They were just a mixture but this one has thrown up a lovely rich coloured flower. It is almost chocolate brown on the underside of the petals.

I thought the lily went rather well with this collection of fabric and threads I have pulled out for an idea I have had. Bright eh? :o)

------------------------------

The contractors arrived as arranged on Monday and  put in a bag to temporarily support the road until they arrange the permanent solution.

The footpath was closed off and they are now removing the soil and then the top row of blocks
before adding an extra block. Once the top blocks are put back on and the soil restored it is beginning to look a little more like it was pre-flood. It certainly looks safer even before the fence is added.

The fabric and threads are still at the stage of being shuffled around and patted whilst a lot of ideas doodling is done!
