When you reach the top you get a lovely picture of ----------snow!!!

These are the Lorton fells and that snow is only five or six miles away but it didn't reach us!

A lot of the daffodils are beginning to fade but other varieties are coming into flower. This area under the beeches always has very tall flowers. We often see red squirrels here but they weren't cavorting around today.

Lastly the tree trunk just round the corner from home. Can you see the little creature peeping out?I am so tempted to go up and paint some eyes on so that more children spot him! You have to stand at exactly the right angle to see him!

Jealous that you have red Squirrels,Have not seen any since last trip to Brownsea Island, But hope to see some in May in Lake district. Your little creature looks so peacefull sleeping there.
