After several weeks quiet--

I end up blogging twice in 24 hours! I forgot to mention last week that I received the current Fabrications magazine and two of my quilts at Sandown are mentioned.

but what got me excited was noticing this for the first time in print!

I knew it was planned but until it appeared in print I couldn't believe it. I still have to pinch myself!
In the next few weeks I will have to parcel up nearly all my quilts and won't see them again till sometime in 2011. Malvern is the first show in which they will be displayed.

Of course the big problem now is to work out how many I can put into the wheelbarrow to push 100 yards to the nearest point that the courier will be able to approach! The saga of the river wall and the road continues but more of that next week.
Suffice to say that it is now nine months since the Cockermouth floods and we don't yet have a start date for the wall to be rebuilt.

Well done Ros, I'll look forward to seeing them when they get to Harrogate. I usually pick up a pile of Fabrications magazines at the Northern Quilt Show which keeps me in reading for a good while.

I keep wondering how you are managing with no direct access to the house. It's amazing how we get used to things isn't it?
Look forward to seeing the quilts!
