A rosette and a new start.

Clarice won a rosette at the National Quilt Championships at Sandown! My friend Jan just sent me a picture.
What a pleasant surprise. :o)

This is my WOW picture.
For a long time I have fancied trying a cotton sateen whole cloth so here I go. It is going to be very organic as I am hopeless at a symmetrical pattern! I am doing these bits first with some lovely merino wadding to give them extra lift.

LOve the idea of a wholecloth. Been going to do one on our longarm but never have the time to do it. One day! What wool batting are you using ? Happy Stitching. Chris
