He left very quickly , when he spotted me so this was the best picture that I managed to take of him.
Was he trying to get some of the windfalls?
This is a Spartan apple tree that we use as the pollinator for our best cropping tree. I tend to leave these apples for the birds. The late butterflies glut themselves on rotting apples too.
