I love the views along the shores of Bassenthwaite en route to Keswick whatever the weather. Sometimes there is a mist rising from the lake, sometimes it is as still as glass and sometimes painted gold by the sun. Today was a very pleasant day but there was a covering of cloud inland. Skiddaw looked as if it was dusted with sugar.

The views there change so much, even on days that would seem the same anywhere else!
